The Emissary - Transfigured Night (Future Perfect’s No More Booze mix) - Its today my friends that I present to you a song that is near and dear to our hearts, as well as one that holds alot of meaning, and growth for us as artists, and individuals. Many moons ago, our friend The Emissary sought us out for a remix to his song “Transfigured Night”. 5 years ago, both Billy and I were ready to really showcase our talents, and show the world just what we could do as producers. We really wanted to push the envelope at that time, and really show how we had improved as artists. Now 5 years later after writing that remix, we finally get to see its release.

One might ask, “Why 5 years later is it now seeing a release?”. Originally it was supposed to be on another label, whom the label owner (a producer as well) decided that he was in control of OUR music. Having not been paid, nor signing any kind of exclusivity contract, how do you think someone might take that? All those years of perfecting an art form, real blood, sweat, and tears went into it, just to be told by some guy that you cant share it with friends and family. So you can imagine how one might react. After flippin’ him the bird (and giving a few stern words i might add), we parted ways, and this track never saw its release. It was quite a blow for us emotionally, and i think it had alot of repercussions between the 2 of us as Future Perfect. But one thing is certain in life, and that is… good music finds its way to the listeners ears! Thank you so much for everything, and a big thank you to those who have stuck with us over the years; we have alot more in store for you this year, and the coming!
